It should come as no surprise that Google would be aggressively pursuing the video conferencing space, positioning itself to take on industry juggernauts like Cisco and MS/Skype. For months, questions have been swarming about whether Google Hangouts presents a threat in the enterprise video conferencing space. Yesterday, Google exec Sundar Pichai was quoted as recognizing the “huge opportunity” to bring Google’s individually-oriented Hangouts to enterprise video conferencing.
Now Cisco will have more to worry about than MFST Lync/Skype.
