Vidtel's video conferencing service cloud brings an SME-oriented solution to the table that a business of any size can afford (pricing starts at $29.95/month for unlimited one-to-one connections and $199/month for an on-demand meeting room for up to 5 locations). The idea is to make video calling and conferencing as easy as making a telephone call. You don’t worry about what device or network someone else is using when you make a phone call and Vidtel thinks you shouldn’t have to with video conferencing and calling, either. If it sounds too good to be true, try it yourself. BYODVidtel has set up a couple of public meeting rooms in the cloud where you can bring your own video conferencing device. Come with a room-based system or executive video phone from Polycom, Tandberg/Cisco, LifeSize, Vu, InFocus; a PC/Mac with Counterpath, Skype or Google Talk; or a tablet or smartphone with Skype and get a colleague or two or more to meet you in the Vidtel cloud. How to Dial Into a Vidtel MeetMe RoomEach of these rooms has a capacity of 12 simultaneous users. If you are not able to join a room, it might be at capacity so please try at another time. If you see no one else, you might be the only participant, so invite a colleague. There is no security PIN activated on these public rooms.
